Dalgona coffee, banana bread, and regenerating scallions have been the iconic foods of quarantine.
I've tried numerous recipes before finally coming across the perfect banana bread recipe.
Behold...
Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter (1/2 cup)
- 3 ripe bananas
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
1) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees
2) Melt the butter in the microwave
3) Add melted butter and mashed bananas to a bowl
4) Add vanilla and eggs; mix
5) Mix dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking soda, salt, cinnamon) together in a separate bowl
6) Add dry ingredients to the mixture. Do not overmix.
7) Bake for 40 minutes in a baking pan
To customize the taste to your liking, you can add whichever mix-ins you like... chocolate chips, walnuts, nutella... totally up to you!
