Recipe: Fruit Cobbler

Ingredients:

  • fruit of your choice (recommend: 4 cups of sliced peaches or 2 cups of fresh blueberries)
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 6 tablespoons of melted butter
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Instructions:
  1. Place the fruit in the bottom of a 9x9 pan
  2. Mix the dry ingredients (flour, sugar, salt, and baking powder) together in a separate bowl
  3. Beat the egg slightly and add to the dry ingredients. Toss with a fork until crumbly.
  4. Sprinkle this mixture over the fruit in the pan.
  5. Drizzle the melted butter over the very top. 
  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 35-40 minutes, or until golden brown.
