Recipe: Pesto Turkey Cottage Cheese Pita Wrap

Last weekend, my aunt made a delicious and healthy wrap using only pita bread, ground turkey, cottage cheese, and pesto. It makes for a fabulously easy lunch or dinner.

Here's the recipe:

Ingredients

  • Ground turkey
  • Cooking wine
  • Soy sauce
  • Onion powder
  • Garlic powder
  • Fennel
  • Pesto
  • Cottage cheese
  • Pita bread


1. Marinate ground turkey with cooking wine, soy sauce, pepper, onion powder, garlic powder, and fennel.

2. Cook the ground turkey in a skillet until browned.

3. Mix pesto into cottage cheese until the mixture turns a light green color.

4. Combine the cooked ground turkey with the pesto-cottage cheese on a pita bread. Enjoy!

You can make each of these ingredients from scratch if you'd like. To save time, I used store bought cottage cheese, pesto, and pita bread and it still turned out so well.
